Kandace Freedman is a passionate advocate for Exceptional Children, serving families throughout South Florida and beyond. With over a decade of experience and advanced degrees—a Master’s in Special Education and a Doctorate in Education—Dr. Freedman brings both deep expertise and unwavering dedication to her work.
Her career began in the classroom, teaching in Autism Clusters, where she witnessed firsthand the systemic challenges faced by students with special needs. Compelled to act, she transitioned into advocacy to ensure that children with disabilities receive the support and services they are entitled to under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Today, Dr. Freedman works with families of children with ADD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Intellectual Disabilities, helping them navigate the complexities of the IEP and 504 processes with confidence and clarity.
“I feel I help both the children and their families, and since this is such a sensitive world, it is important to remember that in my business, ALL business is personal,” says Dr. Freedman. “My goal is to be a voice for the families of children with disabilities and make the IEP and 504 process a lot easier and less nerve-racking. I want my clients to know once they are working with me, I will work tirelessly so that they don’t have to.”
A devoted wife and mother, Dr. Freedman primarily serves families in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, while also providing services across Florida and nationwide.
