The Financial Access Program pairs need-based review with donor-supported funding to help committed families bridge the gap when scholarships do not cover everything.

Administered by Curious Innovators, Inc., the Financial Access Program (FAP) combines a structured, need-based review with donor-supported funding. It exists for families who love our learning model and want to participate, but who need a little extra help to make it work after state scholarships are applied.

Every application is reviewed individually, weighing enrollment commitment, existing funding, and genuine household need.
Who qualifies
Families enrolled three or more days per week who can demonstrate financial need through our structured review and submit the required documentation.
What we review
State scholarship funding already received (including Step Up ESA), household need, enrollment status, and anticipated out-of-pocket tuition.
What awards look like
Approved families typically receive sponsorship covering about 25% of their out-of-pocket tuition. Awards vary with funding availability and individual need.

- A completed financial review and application
- Your Step Up For Students award letter, if applicable
- Documentation of your anticipated out-of-pocket tuition costs
Good to know
We want to be transparent about how the program works, so there are no surprises:
- Financial assistance is limited and not guaranteed. Priority is given to families with a higher enrollment commitment.
- Approved funds are paid directly to the program, not to families.
- All awards are determined by Curious Innovators, Inc. based on need and available funding.

How to apply
Begin your scholarship application through the Step Up For Students portal, then let us know you would like to be considered for the Financial Access Program. We will guide you through the financial review during your enrollment conversation.
