What is a microschool?

A microschool is a smaller, more intentional learning community built around mixed-age classrooms, personalized education, and the kind of flexibility traditional schools cannot offer. Class sizes are small, instruction is tailored to each student, and the schedule works with your family's life, not against it.

At Curious Innovators, we cater to all kinds of students and families: those looking for a fuller weekly schedule, those wanting part-time options, and everyone in between.

What grades do you serve?

We serve students from kindergarten through 8th grade, the full elementary and middle school span. Our small group, mixed-age learning environment is designed to meet each child at their level, no matter where they are in their academic journey.

How do the schedules work?

2 days: Enrichment classes only. Perfect for homeschool families who want hands-on, future-ready learning a few days a week.

3 days: A balanced combination of core academics and enrichment classes.

À la carte: Stack individual 90-minute courses to build the schedule that fits your family.

What is the Winter Snowbird Academy?

The Winter Snowbird Academy is our seasonal enrollment program for families who spend their winters in Florida. Children join our microschool for the season, keep learning through personalized academics that pick up where their home school left off, and return north in spring on track and ahead. It is the only program of its kind in the country. Learn more here.

Do you teach core academics like math, reading, science, and writing?

Yes. We teach all core academics, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and language arts, in our 3 day program. Because instruction is personalized and delivered in small groups, students often achieve stronger academic progress in a fraction of the time compared to traditional classrooms.

What makes Curious Innovators "future ready"?

Beyond strong academics, our students develop the skills that will define the next decade: communication, creativity, problem solving, and entrepreneurial thinking. Through classes in robotics, AI, VR, filmmaking, podcasting, debate, business, culinary arts, and woodshop, students do not just consume knowledge. They create, build, and lead.
